Gracie T on playing Boiler Room, Tik Tok bangers and when dance moves get a little *too* intense...

Gracie T is a secondary school English teacher by day, and DJ by night (or, whenever they're not in a classroom).  Currently based in Sheffield having grown up in a small town in the North East, she's a founding member of collectives The Beatriarchy - a platform for underrepresented artists - and Daytimers, a collective of selectors and producers of South Asian heritage who aim to showcase their community’s talents on their own terms.

We spoke about playing Boiler Room, Tik Tok bangers and the bizarre super-strength people that appear at raves (trust us on this one). You can follow Gracie T on Instagram @djgraciet,  find Daytimers here, and The Beatriarchy here.

Find Belta online at @beltamedia and Niamh at @n_iamhingram.

Shy bairns get nowt, after all…
